Iain Pritchard

Iain Pritchard is the engagement partner for a wide portfolio of not-for-profit clients and leads our assignments involving information systems and technology. Iain is able to draw on more than 25 years' experience in the industry. He trained as a consultant with KPMG and went on to hold senior management positions both in charities, such as The Children's Society and The Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust, and in the commercial sector, where he was International Group IT Director for the Random House book publishing group.
Iain's background in system development has given him a deep understanding of the technology which charities rely on. He brings that knowledge and experience to our clients, where he helps teams to:

  • Develop sound strategies for IT
  • Specify and select systems which will help meet the organisation's objectives
  • Design and manage projects which focus on people as well as on technology

Iain's commitment to information systems led him to initiate the ISBenchlearning and discussion forum, bringing together directors and senior managers from across the sector to share learning and best practice. The forum, which has been running since 2004, looks at every aspect of IT from strategic planning to recruitment and remuneration and exemplifies Sayer Vincent's rounded approach to issues facing clients.

Iain writes on information systems topics for specialist publications and appears regularly at public seminars and conferences where he speaks on project governance, package selection and implementation, commercial contract negotiation, and change management.

Iain is a certified management consultant and a an active member of the Institute of Management Consultants and of the  British Computer Society.
