The Fremantle Trust
Fremantle Trust runs award-winning services in Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Barnet, Harrow and Hertfordshire. They care for nearly 2,000 older people and people with learning disabilities, providing caring services that offer choice and quality of life. Sayer Vincent were appointed external auditors after a selection process in September 2011.
Fremantle is opening a new home in 2013 so we helped with the VAT and other aspects of the contracts for this new project. Fremantle also took on new contracts from some local authorities in 2012 which brought new questions. The first audit went smoothly and we additionally attended an Audit and Risk Committee meeting to discuss the organisation’s approach to risk management. Later in the summer, we facilitated a Governance Day for the trustees and executive team.
