Adaptive Performance Management

The Adaptive Performance Management Forum is a supported network of member organisations with a common interest in improving planning, budgeting and through this, step change improvements in overall performance. It is helping organisations look at best practice and is helping them to help each other in developing potentially radical solutions to some of the constraints of the traditional approaches to planning by sharing information, past successes and implementation experiences.

The Forum will work to promote best practice through structured discussion and case studies from charities already implementing some of the new ideas on such issues as:
• strategic planning
• allocating resources to strategic priorities
• measuring outcomes and performance
• implementation and change management
• better ways of managing and controlling risk

Who should participate?
The Forum is open to senior managers from all charities. Over 100 organisations have participated in the Forum including ActionAid, Action for Children, British Heart Foundation, British Red Cross, Historic Royal Palaces, Islamic Relief, National Trust, RIBA, Sightsavers, Victoria & Albert Museum and Walsingham.
