What has been your career path so far?

I recently joined SV as the maternity cover for the Client Services Team Manager after having spent over a decade in one of the world’s largest technical and financial services companies . At first I worked in their Contracts Department, and then spent most of my time in their Enterprise Data department. I end up managing a team of approximately 20 coordinators and 5 apprentices who were tasked with providing technical and financial advice for real-time and reference data. Not quite where I thought my degree in French and Spanish Literature would take me.

What do you enjoy about the charity sector? 

By and large people who work in this sector are passionate and engaged individuals. There is a sense of purpose that underpins business decisions and interactions which is so refreshing.

Best part of the job? 

I enjoy the variety of the role. Every day’s different and I love the freedom I’ve been given to tailor the job to my interests. The reason this is enjoyable rather than stressful is that Sayer Vincent is a very supportive, relaxed environment where everybody is all-too-willing to help out in any way possible. It also helps that everyone is fun and funny!

What do you get up to outside of work?

I am a massive tennis fan. When not at work, odds are am playing tennis, or watching tennis, or just simply dreaming about it.
